Mann Granites

We are situated at No. 21/5 in Begihalli, right on the road that connects Bannerghatta and Jigani. If you drive this way, you will see a lot of granite yards, and we are one of them. It is a very busy road with a lot of heavy vehicles passing by all the time. Our yard is where we spend most of our waking hours. We have rows of granite slabs lined up. Some are polished and some are still raw. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stacks so we can get to the ones at the back. It is heavy, physical work. Our hands are usually rough from the stone and the tools. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. We don't really do much in the way of fancy business stuff. We just open up the gate, check what orders we have for the day, and start loading. Sometimes the weather is too hot and we have to take more breaks in the shade. Other times it is raining and we have to be extra careful because the stone gets slippery. It is just a regular life working with stone. We see the same truck drivers every week and we just do our job and go home. We have been at this location for a while now and we are used to the rhythm of the traffic and the work. It is what it is.
