Granitech Pvt Ltd is tucked away over at 227, 5th Cross in Bsk 1st Stage. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, but it suits us just fine. We have been working with granite in this space for years. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our tools and the slabs. We spend a lot of time measuring and double-checking things because once you cut stone, you can't really undo it. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it’s hot and we are moving big pieces outside. We don't have a bunch of salespeople in suits. It’s usually just the guys who know how to handle the material. We take orders, we cut the stone, and we send it out. It’s a basic process. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around Bsk 1st Stage, but we’ve stayed right here. If someone drops by, they usually find us busy with a saw or moving stuff with the crane. It’s not a quiet job. There is always some kind of humming from the equipment. We like the work though. It’s solid and keeps us moving. We don't put much stock in fancy branding or anything like that. We just focus on the granite and making sure the cuts are where they need to be. Most days end with us cleaning up the grit and getting ready for the next morning's work.
