Gemini Marbles & Granites

Our shop is at number seventy-three in New Thippasandra, near the Brahmananda Ashram. It’s a busy part of the HAL 3rd Stage area, especially with all the traffic on BEML Main Road. We handle both marbles and granites here. It’s a tight space, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the slabs. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite a few years. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the streets and the people pretty well. We don’t do any of those big corporate presentations. If a customer walks in, we just talk to them like a neighbor. We show them what we’ve got in the back and explain how the different stones behave. It’s a lot of physical work, loading and unloading the heavy trucks that come through. Sometimes the noise from the saws is a bit much, but that’s how it is when you’re cutting stone to size. We try to keep the sidewalk clear, but it’s hard when a new shipment arrives. We just focus on doing a decent job every day and making sure the stone gets to the job site in one piece. It’s a simple business, run by people who know the trade. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. Some days are long, but we just get on with it.
