Marudhar Granites

Our shop is located at 1/1 Bannerghatta Road. We are tucked away right behind the MICO factory. If you know this road, you know how crazy the traffic can get at almost any hour of the day. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the flyovers and the metro work happen right outside our gate. Our yard is where we keep all the granite slabs. It’s a lot of lifting and moving. The dust from the road and the stone is just something we live with every day. Most of our time is spent showing people the different batches of granite we have in stock. Every batch is a bit different, so you have to look at them closely. We get a lot of contractors and builders coming through because of our location near the main industrial area. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a small desk where we do the billing and a lot of space for the stone. Sometimes it's hot out there in the yard, especially in the afternoons. We use the crane to shift the heavy pieces when someone wants to see a slab that's buried at the back. It’s physical work. We don't put on any airs about what we do. We just sell granite and try to make sure people get what they saw in the yard. It's a busy spot but we like being in the middle of things on Bannerghatta Road. It gets loud but we're used to it.
