Somnath Garden Restaurant

Somnath Garden Restaurant sits right on the Deesa Palanpur Highway. If you are driving through Banaskantha, you will see us across from the Raj Mandir Cinema and right near the Somnath Petrolium station. Being on the highway means we see a lot of trucks and families traveling between towns. The 385535 area is pretty dusty, so we are always sweeping the floors to keep the place looking okay. We have a bit of outdoor seating because people like the breeze after being in a car all day. It is a basic setup, nothing flashy or expensive. We just have the kitchen and a few people to help serve the food. Sometimes the highway noise is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We have been here in Deesa for some time now. Most of the people who stop by are just looking for a quick break and something to eat before they get back on the road. We do not have a big fancy menu, just the items we know how to make well. The petrol pump next door brings in a lot of folks who need a rest. We just try to keep the water cold and the food hot. It is a simple business, and we are just here to serve whoever pulls off the road. We do all the work ourselves and keep things running day to day without much fuss or bother.
