Sandhyaraj Farmer Producer Company Limited is our group and we are located in Ratsarkala, which is in the Ballia district. You can find us at House Number 1 on Khejuri Road, which is where Sandhya Singh lives. It is a quiet area and most people around here are involved in agriculture in one way or another. We decided to form this company because it was getting harder to do everything on our own. Ballia is a place where traditions are strong and we like to keep things simple. Our office is just a part of the house where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the season. We don't have a lot of employees or anything like that, it is mostly just us and our neighbors. We grow what the land gives us and try to make sure everyone in the group gets a fair share of the return. Some days are good and some days are very long and tiring. We don't use a lot of big words or have a grand plan for the future. We just want to farm our land and provide for our families. If you walk down Khejuri Road, you will see a lot of fields and that is where you will find most of us working throughout the day. It is a basic life, but it is ours. We are just trying to keep the farming tradition going while making it a bit more organized for everyone involved in the work.
