Sadbhawna Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located at House Number 134 in Prashurampur Tadibada Gaon, which is part of Ballia. It's a rural spot, very much in the heart of the farming community here. Sadbhawna is a company formed by farmers for farmers. We don't have a big corporate office; we just use a room in the village to keep our records and meet up. Most of the time, you'll find us out in the fields rather than at the house. We focus on helping each other with selling our produce and getting better prices. Ballia can be a tough place to work because of the weather and the roads, but we’ve lived here all our lives. We know how the land behaves. Our meetings are usually informal, sitting on the porch or under a tree. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and when the rains might come. There isn't any fancy marketing here. Everyone in the village knows where House 134 is. We keep a ledger for the company and try to make sure everything is fair for the members. It’s a lot of manual work and checking on the crops. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our presence here in the village. It's a simple way of doing things that has worked for us so far and we hope it keeps working for a long time.
