Our company is Jagatpita Balaji Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Ballia in Uttar Pradesh. The main point of contact is Mr. Abhishek Shukla at House Number 137 in Kachbachiya. It’s a small village area near Post Asan. We are just a group of local farmers trying to work together. We don't have a big office building or anything fancy. We meet at Abhishek’s house to talk about the business. Ballia is a place with a lot of history and a lot of farms. We deal with the everyday struggles of farming, like the heat and the water. We aren't big on speeches or missions. We just want to get the harvest in and make sure everyone gets a fair share. Living in Kachbachiya is quiet. Most people here are involved in agriculture one way or another. We started this company to help ourselves and our neighbors. It’s not a polished business. There are mistakes sometimes and things don't always go to plan. But we keep going. We use simple tools and traditional ways mixed with whatever new stuff we can learn. Abhishek handles the papers and we handle the fields. That’s the way it works for us. We are just people from Ballia doing what we know best. There is always something to do, whether it is fixing a fence or checking on the tractors. We don't spend much time sitting around. The days start early and end late, especially when the crops are ready.
