Our company is the Dehari Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located at 204S/ Dehari Kotwari in the Rasara area of Ballia. It is a local place for local farmers. We set this up because many of us felt that doing things together was better than doing them alone. The address is easy to find if you are from around here. Ballia has a lot of farming history and we are just another part of that now. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy logos. It’s just a room with some chairs and a lot of registers. Sometimes we spend hours just talking about the weather and how it’s going to affect the next crop. That’s just life in the 221712 area. We aren't looking to become a massive corporation. We just want to help the farmers in Dehari and Kotwari get a fair deal for what they grow. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the different opinions, but we work through it. We aren't professionals at writing these kinds of things, so this is just us being honest. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who care about the land and the community.
