Chandravati Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Ballia. You can find us at the house of Mr. Ram Sunder Koiri, which is House Number 52 in Village Post Basantpur. We are in the Ropan V Dharahara area. Ballia is right on the edge of the state, and things are done a bit differently here. Our company is all about the farmers coming together. We use Mr. Koiri’s house as our main meeting point and office. It is a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. We do not need a glass building when we can just sit on the porch and discuss our business. Being in a village like Basantpur means we are always around the people we serve. There is always someone coming by to ask about the company or how to join. We handle the paperwork for the producer company right there at House 52. It gets busy during the harvest time, and there is a lot of noise and activity in the village. We do not have any marketing people or anyone to write a mission statement. We just know that we need to work together to get a better deal for our produce. It is a simple, honest life in Ballia. We take things one day at a time and try to help each other out as neighbors.
