Sangamesh Cement

Our business, Sangamesh Cement, is located at 574 in Bachingudd. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We deal with cement and not much else. The building is just a large warehouse where we store the bags. It’s always a bit dusty around here, that’s just the way it goes with this kind of work. We get our shipments in on large trucks and then we break them down for the local folks who only need a few bags at a time. Bachingudd is a small area, so we know most of the people who come by. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find me or one of the boys out back near the loading dock. We write everything down in a big book we keep on a shelf. It’s not high-tech, but we haven't lost a record yet. The sun can be pretty brutal in the afternoons, so we take a long break then. We’ve been at 574 for a while now and the locals know the spot. We don't do much talking, we just get the bags moved and the money sorted. It’s a plain business for plain people. There are no frills here, just cement and hard work. That’s how we like it. The local stray dog usually naps under the loading bay because it's the coolest spot. He’s kind of like a mascot for the whole operation.
