Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd.

We are located out on Mudhol Road in Vantigodi. The address is 75-648/2. It’s a dusty place because of all the cement we handle here at Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd. We don’t really mind the dust, though. It’s part of the job. There are trucks coming in and out all day long. We spend a lot of time checking the loads and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s hard work and it’s usually quite loud with the engines running. We aren’t the types to sit in an office all day. Most of us are out on the floor or near the loading area. Vantigodi is a quiet area otherwise, but our spot stays busy. We’ve been here for a while and the local builders know where to find us. We don’t use a lot of fancy talk about what we do. We just move cement. It’s heavy work and your back hurts at the end of the day, but it’s a good living. We make sure the bags are stacked right so they don’t fall over. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but we just wait it out and get back to it. There’s not much more to it than that. Just some folks on Mudhol Road trying to get through the daily list of chores and orders. We aren't big on writing stories about ourselves so this is about all there is.
