Gfg College

Gfg College is situated in Badami, which is part of the Bagalkot district. The address is 587201, and it is a fairly quiet area compared to the big cities. The college building is basic and fits right into the local surroundings. We have a few lecture rooms and a small space for the staff to sit. Most of our students come from the nearby villages and towns. The bus stop is a short walk away, which is helpful for those who travel from further out. We have a small garden area that we try to keep green, though the heat in Bagalkot makes it a bit difficult. Sometimes, you might see goats from the neighboring houses wandering near our gate, and we just have to shoo them away. The desks in the classrooms are made of heavy wood and have been here for years. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or a massive library. It is a very communal feeling here, and we often share our lunch in the small staff room. There is always a lot of university paperwork to deal with, which keeps us busy in the office. We don't have any posters about being the top college. We just provide a steady place for people to study. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon is very heavy, so we just move the furniture around. It’s a real, local place for the community.
