Dr.Vanahalli Homoeopathy Pharmacy College is based in Bagalkot, specifically in the Shantiniketan area near the Mahalingpur APMC Yard. It might be a bit of a surprise to find a medical college right near a busy market yard, but we have been here for a while and it works for us. Our focus is strictly on homoeopathy. The students spend their days in the labs or in the classrooms learning about different natural remedies and the pharmacy side of things. The building is quite modest and fits right into the local surroundings. We don't have a huge, sprawling campus, but we have enough room for our labs and the library. Most of our students come from the surrounding areas of Bagalkot district. It’s a very quiet and serious place for the most part, though you can hear the noise from the APMC yard when things get busy over there in the mornings. We don't have a big team of people for PR or marketing. We just let the quality of our teaching speak for itself. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual problems of a small college, like fixing a leaky roof or updating old equipment on a tight budget. The staff and students know each other well because we are a small group. It’s a place for people who are genuinely interested in homoeopathic medicine and want a practical education in it without any unnecessary frills.
