Shree Jwala Gyandas Intercollege

We’ve been here in Jaitipur for quite some time now. This part of Kanpur is usually pretty busy, especially in the mornings when the students start showing up at Shree Jwala Gyandas Intercollege. Most of the families around here know where we are. It’s just a standard building, nothing fancy, but it does the job. We have classes running through the day and the teachers are usually busy with grading or just trying to keep the noise down in the hallways. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just how things are in Uttar Pradesh, but we manage. The playground is where most of the energy is. It gets dusty in the summer. People walk or take cycles to get here. We don't really do much advertising because everyone in the village already knows us. It’s just a place for the local kids to get their schooling done without having to travel too far into the main city area. You'll see us near the main road. The gates stay open until the final bell rings in the afternoon. It's a lot of work keeping everything running, from the desks to the paperwork in the office.
