Little Flower Children School

Little Flower Children School is out on Ballia Road in Mau. If you are driving along that road, you really can’t miss us. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by. The school itself is a place where the local kids from Mau come to spend their day. We have a simple building that has been around for quite a while now. There isn’t anything overly fancy about the architecture; it’s just a solid place for kids to be. We have a playground area that gets pretty dusty when the weather is dry, but the kids don't seem to mind much. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like charts on the walls and wooden benches. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone trying to make us look like something we aren't. We are just a local school run by people who live in the area. Our days are spent making sure the lessons are taught and that everyone is safe until their parents pick them up. Sometimes the gate needs a new coat of paint or a window needs fixing, and we just handle it as it comes. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We focus on the daily reality of running a school in Mau and don’t worry about being polished or corporate. It’s just us, the students, and the daily life on Ballia Road.
