R P S Convent Public School

Down in Gonawan, Nawada, you’ll find our school. We’ve been operating here for a while now. It’s a convent public school, but we don’t have that stiff, formal atmosphere you might expect. It’s more of a local neighborhood place. The school is surrounded by the usual sights and sounds of Nawada. We have a few rows of classrooms and a main office where we keep all the records. The kids here are mostly from the nearby villages and the town itself. Every morning, the school buses and cycles arrive at the gate, and it gets quite lively. We don’t have a lot of high-tech equipment, just the standard blackboards and desks. Our teachers are practical people; they just want to see the children improve their marks. The playground is where most of the action happens during recess. It’s dusty and simple, but the kids don’t seem to mind. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up in the office. It’s a real place with real people. There are no polished marketing scripts here. If a parent has a problem, they just come in and talk to us. We focus on the basics of the curriculum and try to make sure everyone is keeping up. It’s just a normal school day for us, every day. We aren't trying to be the biggest school, just a place that works for the local families and their children.
