My First School

My First School is located inside the MIDC area. Being in an industrial zone means there are a lot of warehouses and small factories around us. It’s not the typical place you’d expect to find a school, but there are many workers here whose children need a place to learn. The building is a simple one-story structure with a metal roof in some parts. It can get quite loud when it rains, the sound of the water hitting the roof is something else. We have a fenced-off area where the kids can run around without worrying about the trucks on the main road. The dust from the industrial works is a bit of a problem, so we are constantly cleaning the windows and desks. The classrooms are basic, with just the essentials like a board and some charts. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we make use of every corner we have. The staff mostly comes in on scooters from the nearby residential colonies. We have a small water cooler in the corner that everyone uses. It’s a practical place, built to serve the people working in MIDC. We don't have fancy gardens or a big stage, just the rooms where the teaching happens every day. It’s a hard-working atmosphere, and we just try to keep things organized for the students.
