Seventh Day Adventist Pre Primary School

A small pre-primary school, we are situated on SRPF Road in Jalna. Since it is a quieter part of town, the little ones who come here have a good spot. The school building itself is simple and lacks big signs. Teaching the first letters and numbers to very young children is our main job. Most of the teachers are women from the local neighborhood who have a lot of patience. Small chairs and tables fit the kids perfectly in the classrooms. Drawings made by the children over the past few terms hang on the walls. Though the campus isn't huge, there is enough space for the toddlers to play safely. We have a little routine where we sing songs before the lunch break starts. Dropping kids off on motorcycles or walking them to the gate is common for parents heading to work. This is a very local setup. Keeping a close eye on the gate ensures everyone is safe. The SRPF Road is usually quiet, but we still make sure the gate is bolted during the day. Because we only have pre-primary students, the day ends quite early. Basic methods that have worked for years are what we use, nothing fancy. If the power goes out, we just open the windows for some air. This humble place gives the kids a start before they move on to bigger schools in Jalna.
