Euro Kids

Working at Euro Kids over at Plot Number 1 in Deshpande Puram is always an adventure because of how small the kids are. Being near the Aurangabad Ho area means we get a lot of parents who are busy and need a reliable place for their little ones during the day. Our space isn't huge, but we've filled it with toys and colorful things to keep the children occupied. It gets pretty loud around ten in the morning when everyone is playing. You can hear the laughter and occasionally someone crying because they don't want to share a block. We spend a lot of time wiping tables and making sure the floor is clean. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. The staff here is really patient, mostly because you have to be when you're dealing with toddlers all day. We try to keep a routine, but with kids, things rarely go exactly as planned. Sometimes we're just trying to make sure everyone eats their lunch without making too much of a mess. It’s a very informal place. We don't wear uniforms that are too stiff because we’re always bending down or sitting on the floor with the kids. It’s just a neighborhood preschool where families in Aurangabad feel comfortable leaving their children. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors are used to the noise and the morning chaos of parents dropping off their toddlers.
