Shemrock Youngistan

Since we are near a wedding hall, there is often some music or activity happening nearby, which gives the area a lively feel. Our school is mainly for the younger kids in the community. It is a simple place with bright colors on the walls to make it look friendly for the toddlers. We don't have a massive staff, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the cleaning and the office work. Most of us live within a few kilometers of the school. The building is easy to find, and parents usually just walk their kids over. We have some basic play equipment and small chairs for the lessons. It’s not a fancy international setup with expensive gadgets, just a local spot where kids can spend their morning. We spend a lot of our time making sure the kids are eating their lunch and staying out of trouble. In the summer, we keep the fans running at full speed because Jalna gets quite hot. The office work is mostly done on one old computer and a lot of notebooks. We don't have any grand mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the kids are taken care of and that the parents feel okay leaving them here for a few hours while they go to work.
