Down here in Burnpur, things move at their own pace. We are based in the West Burdwan district, and it’s the kind of place where everyone knows the local businesses. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a small space where we keep everything organized, or at least we try to. It’s often a bit dusty because of the industrial nature of the area, but that’s just part of living and working in Burnpur. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy entrance. Most people find us just by knowing the street or asking around. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at what came in the day before. We handle things as they come. There is no big strategy or corporate ladder here. It is just us working through the tasks. The weather can be a bit harsh, really hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve seen the district change quite a bit over the years, with new roads and more traffic, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same. We aren't trying to be the biggest around, just trying to do a decent job so we can come back tomorrow. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the local scene here in this part of West Burdwan and staying close to our roots.
