Vibgyor Hair & Beauty Academy

People come here to learn about hair and beauty. We have our space in R.B.K.C. Tower, which is right across from St. Francis School in Amritsar. It is a busy area in Rani Ka Bagh. The rooms are usually full of students trying to figure out how to hold scissors or mix colors. It is a bit noisy most days. You will find us on Mcleod Road. Some mornings the students are already waiting outside before we even get the keys in the door. We spend the whole day showing how things are done. It is very hands-on. You get hair on your clothes and your hands get dry from the products. We teach skin treatments too. Some people find the theory parts boring, but they love the practice. We use mannequins mostly until they get the hang of it. The lighting in the building is okay, but we always want more. It is a practical place, not a fancy office. We do not give long speeches about the future. We just show how to do a proper cut or a clean facial. The chai breaks are when everyone relaxes for a few minutes. Then it is back to the mirrors. Most people from around Amritsar know this spot. It is a lot of standing, and your legs feel it by evening. But that is how you learn this trade. We just keep the doors open and help people get their skills right. It is a simple routine we follow every day.
