The Senior Study School

We are located at Putlygarh on G T Road. Being on the Grand Trunk Road means there is always traffic and noise, but once you step inside our gate, it gets a bit quieter. We’ve been a part of Amritsar’s history for quite a while. The school building is old and has a lot of character. We don't try to hide the cracks or the worn-out stairs. It shows that many generations have studied here. We have a simple approach to things. No big speeches or complicated rules. We just expect the students to show up on time and do their work. The classrooms have high ceilings and big windows. We have a staff room where the teachers sit and drink tea while grading papers. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We don't have a public relations person. If a parent has a question, they just walk in and ask. We try to be helpful and honest. Sometimes we have to tell parents things they don't want to hear about their kids, but that’s just part of being a school. We don't use fancy technology for everything. We still like using pens and paper. It’s worked for us for a long time, so we don't see a reason to change it all. We’re just a local school trying to do a decent job for the kids in this part of town and we hope they learn something useful.
