Tirupati Balaji Tiles & Granit is located at Plot No-99 B on Old Jail Road. We are right by Rattan Singh Chowk, which is always a busy spot with plenty of people moving around at all hours. Being on a corner like this means we see a lot of action throughout the day. We deal with some pretty heavy materials, so you will usually see us using levers or just brute strength to move the granite slabs around. It is dangerous work if you aren't careful, so we try to take our time and watch our feet. The yard is full of different stones and tiles, and they get pretty hot under the sun. We have a small covered area where we handle the billing and talk to anyone who stops by. It is often a bit messy with stone dust and scraps of wood from the crates. We don't have a cleaning crew, we just sweep up ourselves at the end of the day. Working near the chowk means it’s never quiet, but we like the energy of the place. People coming from the jail road side often stop in just to compare prices or look at the different granite grains. Rattan Singh Chowk is usually covered in dust from all the construction nearby. We are just local guys running a stone yard, trying to make sure the inventory stays organized and the orders go out on time.
