Baba Farid Tiles

Our place is right in the middle of the hustle here at Chungi Mandir. We’re tucked into the Green Market area on Sultanwind Road. It’s a very busy part of town, especially with Peeran Wala Bazar right nearby. There’s always someone moving, whether it’s people shopping for vegetables or looking for building supplies like our tiles. The shop is small and packed with different samples. We don’t have much room for a garden or a big parking lot, so things can get a bit tight when a delivery arrives. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the market, but it makes the day go by faster. I’ve been working here for quite a while now. You get used to the rhythm of the street. People drop in while they’re out doing their other errands. We don’t bother with fancy displays. The tiles speak for themselves when people see them. Sometimes I’m in the back moving boxes, and sometimes I’m just out front talking to the neighbors. It’s a bit of a maze getting around the market sometimes, but everyone knows where the tile shop is. We keep the doors open most of the day unless it’s really dusty outside. It isn't a corporate setup, just us trying to make a living and helping folks find what they need for their floors. We've seen kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they're buying for their own homes.
