We are based over at 8 Guru Ram Das Colony. It’s a quiet enough spot for a hotel and resort business. Running this kind of place takes up most of our hours. We started out small and we’ve just stayed at this location, managing the day-to-day things. There is always something to fix, whether it's a leaky tap or a light bulb that's gone out. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or big advertisements. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just being in the neighborhood. Guru Ram Das Colony is where we do all our work. We manage the rooms and keep an eye on the grounds. It’s mostly about making sure things are organized for whoever stays with us. The staff here knows the area well. We handle the chores, the laundry, and the front desk ourselves. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's quite still. We just take it as it comes. Being in the hospitality business means you never really have a day off, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep the place neat and tidy. It’s a modest operation and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one for anyone who needs a room in this part of town. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything running, but we just get on with it.
