Our place is located in Village Meharbanpur, right near the Jandialaguru post office. Nijjer Agro Foods Ltd. is deeply tied to this area. You won't find any glass skyscrapers around here. Instead, it’s mostly fields and the sound of tractors. We spend our days coordinating with local growers and making sure the food products are moving along like they should. It’s a lot of manual tracking and checking bags. The office is just a small room with a few old desks and a fan that squeaks when it turns. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't busy. Life moves a bit differently in the village compared to the big cities. We don't rush around for no reason, but we do work hard when the harvest comes in. That's when things get really hectic and we stay late into the night. We've had some bad seasons and some good ones, but we’re still here doing the same thing. People know the Nijjer name around Jandialaguru because we’ve been part of the landscape for a long time. We don't put out brochures or have a PR department. We just focus on the agro business and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. Sometimes we just sit outside for a minute when the sun goes down to catch our breath before heading home.
