Our place is situated out on Majitha Bye Pass Road. If you know where Grewal Farm House is, you’ve basically found us, as we are right nearby. Being on the bypass makes it easier for the big trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in the middle of town traffic. It’s a practical location for what we do. We handle a lot of concrete work here. It's a noisy, dusty business, but it keeps us busy from morning until late. The crew here has been together for a while, and we just focus on getting the orders out. There’s no big fancy reception area or anything like that. Just a simple office where we keep the logs and take the calls. We get a lot of people stopping by asking for directions because of the farm house nearby. It’s a good landmark. The road can get pretty rough during the monsoon, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just supply concrete to the sites that need it. Sometimes the machinery acts up, or the weather slows us down, but that's just part of working outdoors on the bypass. We’ve seen the area grow quite a bit over the last few years. More buildings going up every month. We just keep our heads down and keep the mixers turning. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local building scene here.
