Nijanand Traders

Nijanand Traders is situated on Tower Road, right on Mir Sahib Street. If you’re looking for us, we’re the ones opposite the Coll Depot. It’s a pretty central spot, so there’s always people walking past or stopping to ask directions. Our place isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we’re trading at the time. The street can get quite narrow when the delivery carts come through, which makes things a bit tight sometimes. We’ve been on Tower Road for a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing business, mostly face-to-face and lots of talking. There’s always a bit of dust from the road and the noise of the traffic nearby is something you just get used to after a week. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that, we just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. Most of the work is just moving boxes and keeping track of the stock on hand. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the steps and wait it out. It’s a simple life. We aren't looking to change much, just keeping the trade going and making sure our regulars get what they need when they stop by. It’s just how things are done here on Mir Sahib Street and we like the routine.
