Debu Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started this in Amravati at House No 27. Shirasgon Band is a small place. The heat gets quite bad in the summer. We are just a group of people from Chandur Bazar trying to manage things. Sometimes it's hard with the water. My cousin helps with the paperwork. We use the small room at the front of the house for our meetings. It gets crowded when ten people show up. People bring their own stools. We talk about the crops and who is selling what. It isn't a fancy office with chairs and desks. Mostly we just sit on the floor and drink tea while we discuss the market rates. Debu Agrotech is just what we called it because it sounded right at the time. There is a lot of dust on the road outside. Most days we are just out in the fields checking on the plants. It's a long walk to the main road from the house. We don't have a big sign or anything like that. Just the address in Shirasgon Band. We try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or the seeds don't arrive. It’s better than trying to do it all alone. The rains were late this year so everyone was a bit worried. We spent a lot of time just waiting and talking at the house and trying to see what we can do about the next season together.
