Agricore Agro Producer Company Limited is based over at Kesho M Kute’s house in Kapustalni. If you know Ward No. 4 in Anjangaon, you’ve probably walked past us. We are in the Amravati district, which is a busy place for agriculture. Our setup is pretty basic because we don’t see the point in wasting money on a fancy building when we could be focusing on the actual work. A few of us get together there to manage the records for the producer company. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when a lot of people show up at once. We handle things like seed distribution and looking at how to sell the harvests better. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes the logistics are a real headache, but we figure it out. The local community knows us well since we're all from around here anyway. We don't use big words or try to act like corporate bosses. We’re just regular people trying to make a living from the land. The house at number 654 is where we keep all the files and have our meetings. It’s practical and it works. We've seen good years and bad years in Amravati, so we just take it one day at a time. It’s about being there for each other and making sure the business side of farming doesn't fall apart.
