Global Marketing Empire

Our place is at 31-32 in the Industrial Area here in Ambala Cantt. Global Marketing Empire sounds like a big name, but we’re just a bunch of people working out of a couple of units. It’s mostly storage and desks packed into the space. Ambala Cantt is a busy hub, and being in the industrial part means we’re surrounded by factories and warehouses. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. We handle a lot of different products, so there’s always crates arriving or being sent out. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking inventory lists. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. We aren't trying to be some fancy corporate office. We just have a job to do and we do it. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re like a small family. We know the tea stall guy around the corner and the truck drivers who come by every week. It’s a simple life. We spend the day making calls, writing down orders, and making sure the warehouse stays organized. It gets crowded in here when a big shipment arrives, and we all have to pitch in to move things around. It’s just how it goes in the industrial area. We like the pace of it and being part of the local scene.
