Medimeas Instruments

Our workshop is located at No. 118 in the Hsidc Industrial Estate on Jagadhari Road. It is a busy area where you can hear the constant traffic from the main road throughout the day. We deal with instruments, so our workspace has to be kept fairly organized, though it definitely gets a bit messy when we are right in the middle of a big project. There are workbenches lined up against the walls and plenty of tools scattered around the place. We have been in this industrial estate for quite a long time now. Most of the people working here have been with us for many years. We know all the neighbors and often borrow things from the shop next door if we are in a pinch for a specific tool. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a functional space with high ceilings and big doors. We spend a lot of time looking at small parts and making sure everything fits together the way it should. It requires a lot of focus and patience. Lunch breaks are usually taken together at the big table in the back room. We talk about local news or whatever is happening on Jagadhari Road that day. The sun hits the front windows in the afternoon and makes it quite warm inside, so we usually keep the fans running at full speed. It is a very straightforward way to make a living.
