You can find Rana Machines India Pvt. Ltd. over at 89, Jaggi Colony, Phase I. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time around heavy metal and tools. The workshop area is usually louder than the office part because of the machines running. There’s always a faint smell of oil and grease in the air, which is just part of the job. We have different sections for different tasks, and people are usually moving around with wrenches or measuring tapes. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where things actually get built. The office is just a small corner with a few desks where we handle the orders and the billing. Sometimes we have to shout a little to be heard over the noise from the floor. Jaggi Colony is an industrial kind of neighborhood, so we fit right in with the other shops around us. We don't have a fancy showroom; if you want to see what we do, you just walk onto the shop floor. The guys here have dirty hands most of the day, and that’s just how it is when you’re working with machines. We have a lot of spare parts lying around in boxes, and we know exactly where everything is. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to work every single day of the week. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal in front of us.
