G.K. Grafix

G.K. Grafix is located at 77, Rai Market Road, right near the Aerovision Q5 building. Rai Market Road is usually buzzing with people and traffic, which gives the place a lot of energy. Our shop is where we handle all the graphic work. It’s filled with computers and some digital printing equipment that stays running most of the day. The walls have a few samples of things we have done, but they are mostly covered in notes and reminders. It gets a bit cluttered with paper scraps and empty ink cartridges. We don't have a polished front desk; you just walk in and talk to us while we are working. The lighting inside is bright so we can see the colors properly on the screens. Sometimes the street noise outside is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend many hours staring at monitors, trying to get the lines and shapes to look right. It’s not a corporate environment by any means. We wear casual clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work through our tasks. People from the market often pop in to check on their orders or just to say hello. It’s a very local way of doing business on Rai Market Road. We don't make big promises, we just sit down and do the design work until it’s finished and the customer is okay with it.
