Rachmeri Granites

Rachmeri Granites is located at Number 2, Poorna Prasad Road. We are in the High Grounds area, which is quite close to the Race Course. Working with stone is heavy work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the week. The yard where we keep the granite is full of big slabs leaning against each other. They come in all sorts of colors, and sometimes we just stand there looking at the patterns when things are quiet. It’s a dusty job, so we wear old clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. The office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the ledger and a few chairs for when customers want to sit down and talk about their houses. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or contractors who have been here before. The location on Poorna Prasad Road is nice because there are some big trees that give us a bit of shade during the hottest parts of the day. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. It’s physical work that leaves you tired, but it’s good to see the finished pieces head out on the trucks. We keep a simple routine, starting early and finishing up once the light starts to fade over the Race Course.
