Hindustan Marble & Sanitary House

Our business is located in Jatiyana, right in the Khairthal Mandi area. Being Hindustan Marble & Sanitary House means we are usually surrounded by heavy slabs of stone and all sorts of bathroom fittings. We are situated very close to the Government Senior Secondary School, so we hear the school bell ring several times a day and see the kids heading home in the afternoon. The mandi is a loud and energetic place to work, with tractors and carts moving around all the time. Our floor is usually covered in a bit of white marble dust, and there is always the sound of someone loading or unloading a truck nearby. It is physical work, moving those heavy pieces of marble without chipping the edges, and it takes a lot of patience. We do not have a fancy office; we just sit on plastic chairs and talk to the local builders who come in looking for materials. The shop can get quite cold in the winter because of all the stone, so we usually have a heater going or we just wear extra layers of wool. Most people in Khairthal know where we are because we have been here for years, and they often stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on their construction. We keep things honest and simple, focusing on the heavy lifting and making sure the orders are ready when people come to collect them.
