We are over at number 33 in the Alkapuri Shopping Complex. If you know this part of town, you know it is a pretty busy spot with people coming and going. We have been working with granite and marble here for some time now. The office is not huge, but it fits what we need for the day-to-day paperwork. Usually, you will find one of us on the phone with a supplier while someone else is showing a customer the different patterns on the stone slabs we keep in stock. It gets a bit noisy in the complex during the peak lunch hours, but we like being right where the people are. We do not really do the big, fancy showroom thing. Instead, we just have the samples and the actual pieces ready for folks to look at. People often come in with measurements scribbled on random bits of paper, and we sit down to figure out what works for them. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic near the complex entrance, which is always a headache for us. We deal with all sorts of stone, some from nearby and some from much further away. It is a lot of lifting and moving heavy things around. We have a small team, and we all know how to handle the weight. It is practical work. Most days go by fast because there is always a slab to move or a question to answer.
