Island Stone India Pvt. Ltd. is based out in the Riico Industrial Area in Bhiwadi, specifically at E - 1217-1218. If you’ve ever been to Bhiwadi, you know it’s a massive hub for manufacturing and industry. It’s a lot different from a retail shop in the city. Here, it’s all about the machines and the industrial scale of things. The Riico area is full of factories, so there is a constant hum of engines and movement. We have a fair amount of space in our units, which is necessary because the stone we handle takes up a lot of room. It’s a dusty, busy place to work. We don’t have much time for fancy talk; we just focus on the production and getting the stone sorted. Most of the people working here are from the surrounding areas of Bhiwadi or have moved here for the industrial jobs. The weather can be harsh, and the surroundings are mostly concrete and steel, but it’s where the work happens. We keep the equipment running and make sure the blocks and tiles are moved safely. It’s a gritty environment, and your clothes are usually covered in some kind of grit by lunchtime. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It's just a functional industrial space where we do the work that needs doing. It’s a long day, but being in a hub like Riico keeps us connected.
