R. S. Steel Industries

We are located at 9/C in the Ashwamegh Industrial Estate in Changodar. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a lot of factories and big warehouses. R. S. Steel Industries is one of the smaller operations in the area, but we stay very busy. The sound of metal hitting metal is something you just get used to after a couple of days. It’s loud and it can get very dusty, especially when the wind kicks up across the industrial estate. We spend our time managing orders and making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. Most of our day is spent out on the floor or in the small office right near the entrance. The air smells like oil and iron, and we usually go home with dirt under our fingernails. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or air conditioning that works all the time. We just have our tools and the machines. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the life here. The trucks come and go at all hours, so there is always someone around. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny building. We just want to get the orders filled and move on to the next one tomorrow.
