Rathi Steel Bhandar

If you find yourself walking opposite the Sansi Get, you will see us there. Rathi Steel Bhandar is a place where we deal with a lot of heavy lifting and metal every day. Steel is definitely not light, so our days are filled with moving rods and heavy sheets around for the customers. It is a dusty job, and your hands are always dirty or greasy by the end of the shift. We have been in this spot for a long time now, and the Sansi Get is the main landmark we tell everyone to look for when they are lost. The shop is basically a large shed filled with metal stacked to the ceiling. There is no air conditioning here, just the big front doors kept wide open to catch whatever breeze comes by from the street. We get trucks coming in at all hours to load up or drop off new supplies. It is quite noisy because of the metal clanging against metal, but we don't mind it much anymore. We talk to the truck drivers, have some water, and get back to sorting the stacks. It is not the kind of place where you come to sit and relax. It is about getting the steel out to the people who need it for their buildings. We don't have fancy signs. People just know we are here across from the gate. We keep it simple, keep the inventory moving, and close up once the last truck is finally gone.
