Nidhi Steel Safe Co.

Nidhi Steel Safe Co. has been operating out of 19/173 New Premier Nagar for a good bit of time. We are right by Shivaji Park Bank Colony, so it is a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the main market. You can hear the sounds of metal being worked on if you walk down our street. It is a heavy job, moving these steel safes around. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings scattered around near the back. We have a big door that stays open most of the day to let the air in because it gets hot when the sun hits the roof. The neighbors are mostly used to the clanking by now. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it is a nice walk past the park. We don't have a big showroom or anything, just the space where the work happens. There are stacks of metal sheets in one corner and tools hanging on the walls. It is a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how a workshop looks. We drink a lot of water in the summer. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time turning into the lane because of the parked cars, but we usually manage to get things loaded up. It is just a steady, regular life here in Premier Nagar.
