Konark Metal Products Pvt. Ltd. is located at 85-A and 86 in the Durgapuri area, which is part of Patel Nagar. It is an area where a lot of manual work happens, and we fit right in with our metal production. The facility is basically a large shed where we keep our materials and the heavy machinery we use every day. It gets noisy when the machines are running, and you have to yell a bit to be heard over the clanging of metal. We have been here in Durgapuri for a long time, so we know the layout of the streets and all the local quirks. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or dust, no matter how much we sweep. It is a tough environment, but we are used to it. Our office is just a small partitioned area in the corner where we keep the ledgers and handle the phone calls. We do not have air conditioning out on the floor, just some big fans that move the hot air around. People who work here have been with us for years, so we are more like a family than a company. We just do our jobs, make sure the products are made right, and try to keep things organized. It is hard work, but there is a satisfaction in seeing the finished metal parts stacked up at the end of the day. We are proud of what we make here.
