Aligarh Public School

You can find us at Nishat Kothi on University Road in the Civil Lines area of Aligarh. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of history and people always moving about. Our school has been around for many years and many families in Aligarh have sent their kids here for generations. The building itself is an older one, which gives it some character, though it definitely needs a bit of upkeep and paint now and then. We have students from all kinds of backgrounds. The morning assembly is usually when the whole place feels the most crowded and lively. We teach the regular curriculum without any extra fluff or unnecessary programs. It’s about making sure the kids know their lessons and pass their tests. The teachers are a mix of old-timers who have been here for decades and some newer faces who just started. We don't have a lot of fancy technology in every single room, but we have enough to get the point across to the students. The playground is where most of the action happens during the breaks and after school. It’s a bit dusty, but the kids don't seem to mind when they're playing. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks of running a school. It’s not always easy, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we have a rhythm. It’s just a local school.
