Family Choice Restaurant

You can find us over in Dodhpur, in the Civil Lines area of Aligarh. We’re located right near the Bombay Mercantile Bank. It’s a good spot because people are always around doing their banking or shopping. We’re just a regular restaurant. The name says Family Choice, and we try to keep it that way. We don't have a fancy head chef with a tall hat; we just have cooks who know how to make decent food. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to work around each other in the small kitchen. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the lunch rush hits, but that’s just how it is. We aren't looking to win any awards or be in a magazine. We just want to make sure the plates are full and the customers are satisfied. We spend our downtime cleaning the windows and checking the supplies. It’s a simple life. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up, open the doors, and start cooking. If a customer isn't happy with something, we just fix it. No big deal. Civil Lines is a busy part of Aligarh, and we’re just happy to have our little corner here. It’s a lot of work, but we like seeing the same faces come back week after week. It makes the place feel like it belongs. We are just here doing our job.
