Kids Era School

Kids Era School is tucked away in Gali Number 7 of the Ram Ganj area in Ajmer. If you know Ajmer, you know that these streets can be quite narrow and busy with people going about their business. Our school is right in the middle of all that energy. It’s not a huge campus with sprawling fields, but we make the most of the space we have in the building. In the mornings, the alleyway outside Gali Number 7 is full of parents dropping off their little ones. You can hear the sounds of the city all around us, from the scooters to the distant calls from the market. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, and we try to keep the focus on the lessons. The rooms are painted in bright colors because we wanted it to feel a bit more cheerful for the younger kids. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping the children safe while they learn their ABCs and numbers. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone is in the hallway at once, but we manage. The staff here is like a small family, and we’ve all been working together in Ram Ganj for quite a while now. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a very tight-knit spot in a very old city. We see the same faces every day, and that makes the job feel more personal than if we were in a big office building.
