Sankar Watch Co has been located on Station Road for a long time now. Being near the station means we see a lot of people who are in a hurry to catch a train or just getting back home. Time is pretty important when you have a schedule to keep, so we try to get things fixed as quickly as we can without being sloppy. We handle all kinds of watch repairs, from putting in a new pin for a strap to fixing the internal gears. It is a small shop, and it can get a bit crowded when a few people come in at once. We have some clocks on the walls too, mostly the plain ones that people like for their kitchens or offices. The noise from the trains and the traffic is just part of our day. We have our regulars who come in just to chat or get a battery changed every year or so. We like it that way. You don't need a lot of fancy equipment to do this job well, just the right tools and a steady hand. We learned the trade from the people who ran the shop before us.
