Pilana Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our base of operations is in Pilana Khas, and we work from Saguwa’s house. It’s a very small village, so our company is very much a part of the local life here. We don’t have a professional office building with a reception or anything like that. It’s just a regular home where we’ve set aside some space to manage the producer company. We focus on the farmers in our area because that’s who we are ourselves. Most of our meetings happen under the shade of a tree or in the main living area. We don’t use fancy words or have big plans for expansion. We just want to make sure that every farmer in Pilana gets a fair shake. We keep our books by hand and spend most of our time talking to people face-to-face. It’s an old-school way of doing business, but it’s what works in a place like this. When it’s harvest time, everyone is busy and there’s a lot of shouting and moving things around. During the off-season, things are much quieter. We don't have a mission statement or any promotional materials. We just provide a place where people can come and deal with their agro products without any fuss. It’s honest, simple work that keeps our community going. We’re just regular folks from Pilana Khas doing our best for the people we’ve known all our lives.
