Savera Overseas

Down here at Diggi Chowk, things never really stay quiet for long. Our place at 22/308 is right where the traffic picks up, so there is always a bit of a buzz outside the door. Savera Overseas has been running from this spot, and it’s mostly about keeping up with the paperwork and the orders that need to go out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking boxes. It’s a small office, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We’ve got stacks of files and sometimes the computer acts up, but we manage. The area is busy with people heading to the market or just cutting through the chowk. Usually, we are busy thinking about the next shipment or where the driver has reached. It’s a lot of coordination, really. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a deadline is close, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We’ve got a couple of desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of routine. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything; we are just making sure the business stays steady and the customers get what they asked for. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us occupied from morning until we close up for the evening. If you’re walking past Diggi Chowk, you’d probably miss us if you weren’t looking for the house number. It's just a regular local operation.
